I was fortunate to be in Moscow in August when the weather is mild with temps in the high 70′s or low 80′s most days. August in Moscow was very pleasant for me. Since I try to avoid blistering cold, snow and ice I think I wouldn’t be too happy if I was this soldier posted outside the Kremlin. Then again, maybe the Russian natives are more used to the cold and snow and don’t mind it as much. Somehow I doubt it.
